Data Deletion Instructions
Replyo gives every user the right to request deletion of the personal data we hold about them, including data received through Meta platforms (Instagram and WhatsApp) such as messages, message metadata, conversation history, and profile details.
Your right to deletion
You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This includes data received through Meta platforms (Instagram and WhatsApp) — messages, message metadata, conversation history, and profile details — as well as related records described below.
How to request deletion
There are two ways to request deletion:
Send an email to privacy@replyo.link with the subject “Data Deletion Request”, including the Instagram handle, WhatsApp number, or email tied to the interactions so we can locate your records. Verified requests are completed within 30 days (GDPR/CCPA aligned).
In conversation
Reply “DELETE MY DATA” in any Replyo-managed Instagram or WhatsApp conversation. Our team verifies your identity and processes the request through the same workflow.
What gets deleted
A verified deletion request removes:
- Chat messages, timestamps, and metadata from Instagram and WhatsApp integrations.
- Conversation history and automated-reply interaction logs.
- Contact details (name, email, phone) tied to the profile.
- Associated lead and analytics records derived from the interactions.
Data we are legally required to retain is kept only for the minimum mandated period, then securely deleted. Backups are purged on the standard rotation cycle.
Verification
Replyo confirms the request comes from the data owner before deleting. We may ask you to confirm from the same Instagram account, WhatsApp number, or email on file.
Confirmation
Once deletion is complete, we send a confirmation to the contact method you used to make the request.
